The "charge"of TICC Working Group 1 is clarification of competencies within nursing and healthcare. WG1 will define competency for TIGER purposes. We will collect select non-informatics competency exemplars used within nursing, healthcare, and other industries to guide us so that we don't get trapped inside the nursing or nursing informatics ghetto with our thinking. We want to define what TICC means by competencies as clearly as possible so that other WG's within TICC, the whole TICC collaborative and other TIGER collaboratives can be informed and do their work better.
